How to Use

In Your Dryer

1. Add 3-4 drops of Freshly Washed to a couple of wool dryer balls before putting them in the dryer.
2. Toss the balls into the dryer with your laundry and dry as usual.

Scent Not Strong Enough?

Because Freshly Washed is made with pure essential oils, its scent is naturally lighter than synthetic fragrances. If you’d like a stronger, longer-lasting aroma, try these simple tricks!

• Let it absorb first: Allow the oil to soak into the dryer balls for 1-2 minutes before tossing them in.
• Adjust the amount: S2-3 drops per dryer ball for a light scent. Increase to 5-6 drops for a stronger aroma, but don’t overdo it to avoid oil stains.
• Apply at the right time: For a scent that lingers, add Freshly Washed to your dryer balls during the last 10-15 minutes of the cool-down cycle.
• Try a cool-air boost: Dry your laundry as usual, then apply essential oil to your dryer balls, toss them in with the dry clothes, and run a 5-10 minute cool-air cycle to help the scent cling to fabrics.
• Store for freshness: Keep unused infused dryer balls in a sealed container or bag between laundry cycles to help retain the scent.

While Pregnant or Breastfeeding

Freshly Washed is the only blend in our shop that is safe for topical and aromatic use during pregnancy, when properly diluted.

Our single oils — lavender, lemon, and sweet orange — are also considered safe when properly diluted. All other blends contain oils that should be avoided while pregnant and breastfeeding.

Even for oils that are generally considered safe, always consult your doctor before using essential oils during pregnancy, do not use them during your first trimester, and never ingest essential oils.

If you choose to apply oils to your skin, dilute them properly with a carrier oil such as coconut, almond, or olive oil. A 1% dilution is recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding (about 2 drops of essential oil in a 10 ml roll-on bottle, filled the rest of the way with carrier oil).
